Outokumpu Industrial Village provides training
Outokumpu Industrial Village Ltd. carries out a wide range of training, service and project activities that promote the development of skills and employment in companies in the Outokumpu region. We work flexibly with, among others, the city of Outokumpu, educational institutions, development companies, research institutes, financiers and entrepreneur associations.
The Outokumpu region industrial village will be completed by the end of 2026. Local sudden structural changes (PÄRM) The funding granted by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy is aimed at strengthening Outokumpu's vitality, and the project is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, the Eastern Finland Vitality Centre and the Regional Council of North Karelia.


The project aims to support the renewal of the region's economic activities, strengthen the skills of the workforce and promote re-employment in the region's companies. Practical measures are aimed at developing the industrial operating environment and improving the encounter between companies and job seekers.
